Charlie woke up one evening with a huge plantars wart on his foot. It was a small lesion on the sole of his foot. He had never had a wart in his entire life, and (needless to day) he was a little freaked out about it.
He asked his doctor how he got the wart. The doctor then interrogated his habits when he is barefoot. Charlie said that he walks barefoot around the shower at the gym. The doctor then concluded that, since the HPV virus (the virus that causes warts) are extremely contagious, it was the cause of the wart.
“What can I do?” asked Charlie? The doctor said he could undergo a procedure called cryofreezing. He would need to go to a dermatologist for that procedure.
Since the wart was in the sole of his foot, the wart was “pressed into the skin.” due to the pressure of walking. The cryofreezing produce might get rid of the plantars wart temporarily, but since the human papilloma virus is uncurable, he could have another incidence of warts in his life.
Charlie’s doctor recommended that he take the following precautions:
--Wear sandals when in communal wash areas: This includes gym locker rooms and other areas where other people are taking showers. The HPV virus can be easily transmitted among
--Don’t come into contact with a person with a wart on their hands – Since a wart can be transmitted to any part of the body, you can get warts anywhere..on your hands, chest, and even your genitals.
In conclusion, a plantars wart is contagious and should be take care of immediately. Interestingly, health guru Chris Gibson devised a technique that allows people to get rid of a plantars wart in 3 days or less. To learn more, go to: Wart Removal in 3 Days Or Less!
